County of Santa Clara to Host Business Diversity Fair

Participants will learn about competitive contracting opportunities  and receive valuable information on how to do business with public agencies

WHAT:

The County of Santa Clara’s Procurement Department is hosting a Business Diversity Fair on November 2, ​2018 at the County Government Center from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Various County departments and agencies will be on-site to meet with representatives from local businesses and provide valuable information regarding competitive business opportunities. County representatives will answer questions about contracting opportunities, and provide guidance on competitive bidding and proposals processes.

The Business Diversity Fair offers a unique matchmaking opportunity for businesses to request meeting times with represented departments of their preference. Please register for this unique opportunity at https://tinyurl.com/yc2uykz8.

The County of Santa Clara issues competitive solicitations for a variety of commodities and services including: computer hardware and software, software maintenance and support, medical and surgical equipment and accessories, medical equipment maintenance, office furniture, furniture installation, moving services, building construction and repair services, advertising, environmental management, electrical services, janitorial services, landscaping, debris hauling and monitoring service, as well as a broad variety of conventional and unique services related to the following fields: technology, medicine, legal, government, and other health and human social, advocacy and community services.
