First Ever Mountain View LGBTQ Community Listening Forum Scheduled for Saturday, January 27, 2018

WHAT:

The County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ Affairs in partnership with the City of Mountain View Human Relations Commission will host the first ever Mountain View LGBTQ+ Community Listening Forum to identify and discuss issues and concerns and make recommendations aimed at improving the quality of life for the community. Coordinators are encouraging the participation of Mountain View LGBTQ community members and individuals providing service to the community in various capacities.

County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ Affairs Director Maribel Martinez will be available for interviews before presenting at the forum. Other confirmed speakers include District 5 County Supervisor Joe Simitian.

The Mountain View LGBTQ Listening Forum provides an opportunity for LGBTQ community members, elected officials, law enforcement, Mountain View employers, school administrators, health officials and others to help shape the future of projects and initiatives that will better serve Mountain View/North County LGBTQ communities.
