Palo Alto LGBTQ Listening Forum Seeks to Improve Community’s Quality of life

WHAT:

The County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ Affairs, in partnership with the City of Palo Alto Human Relations Commission, will host the first ever Palo Alto LGBTQ+ Community Listening Forum. The goal of this forum is to identify and discuss issues and concerns, and make recommendations to improve the quality of life for members of the community. Coordinators encourage the participation of Palo Alto LGBTQ community members and individuals that provide services to this segment of the population, in various capacities.

Media Availability: Prior to the event and at 6:00 p.m. on the day of the forum, County of Santa Clara Office of LGBTQ Affairs Director Maribel Martínez will be available for interviews in English and Spanish.

The Palo Alto LGBTQ Listening Forum provides an opportunity for LGBTQ community members, elected officials, law enforcement, Palo Alto employers, school administrators, health officials and others to help shape the future of projects and initiatives that will better serve Palo Alto LGBTQ communities.
