County of Santa Clara and Its Employees Jointly Announce Lawsuit in Support of DACA Recipients

Press Conference to Provide Details of Legal Action

WHAT:

County of Santa Clara and Service Employees International Union Local 521 officials are announcing the filing of a lawsuit challenging U.S. President Donald Trump’s decision to rescind the immigration policy known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (“DACA”). This legal action is the first in the nation filed jointly by an employer and a labor union on behalf of DACA beneficiary employees.
