County of Santa Clara Update Regarding Shooting at Valley Transportation Authority: Medical Examiner-Coroner Releases Autopsy Findings of the Victims

Santa Clara County, CA  The Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner has completed the autopsies of the nine victims of the Valley Transportation Authority Maintenance Yard shooting that occurred on May 26. The Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office is releasing the cause and manner of death for all nine individuals.

The Medical Examiner-Coroner’s Office is providing the cause and manner of death for each victim following a thorough investigation and autopsies. Further details about cause of death will not be released until the autopsy reports are completed.
