Vote Centers Open this Weekend for In-Person Voting

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CALIF – The Registrar of Voters’ Office announced today that twenty-three (23) Vote Centers will open this Saturday, February 24, for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. Voters will be able to vote in-person, drop off a Vote by Mail ballot, or take advantage of additional services such as language assistance, curbside voting, and accessible voting systems.

“Vote Centers offer a traditional voting experience, with the added benefit of giving voters the freedom to cast their ballot at any location in the county,” said Shannon Bushey, Registrar of Voters. “All Vote Centers are fully-equipped to handle any voting need, and our staff is happy to help all voters make their voices heard.”

A total of 104 Vote Centers will be open throughout the county for the March 5, 2024 Presidential Primary Election. Twenty-three (23) Vote Centers will open this Saturday, February 24, and an additional eighty-one (81) Vote Centers will open on next Saturday, March 2. Vote Center hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., depending on location. All locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, March 5. Voters may also return their ballot by mail, or drop it off at any of the 102 Official Drop Boxes, which are open 24 hours a day, and on Election Day until 8 p.m. Official Drop Box locations can be found online at rovservices.sccgov.org.

Voters can track the status of their ballot by registering at wheresmyballot.sos.ca.gov. The service will send status notifications by text, email, or phone when the ballot is mailed, received, and counted.
